I loved the resort that we stayed at and hope I can return there again at some point in my life. It was right on the lake and had a nice beach, multiple heated pools, hot tubs, alligator ponds, etc. We hung out in the hot tub every night and met a bunch of cool people from places like Newfoundland, Quebec City, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, England, Utah, and Washington. There was a high school choir from Quebec that did Karaoke for 2 hours one night at the beach and every single song was either Elvis or Celine Dion. Good times.
We had good weather the first 4 days and then the last 2 days were somewhat colder but still not to shabby.
The plane ride home was torture though. It was 3 1/2 hours of constant turbulence with a crying child in front of me, a baby that coughed and kicked my chair nonstop the entire trip behind me, and a girl to the right of me that vomited nonstop the entire trip (the flight attendants gave her a couple of biohazard bags to use after the vomit bags had all been used in our row.) Needless to say, I was thrilled when we finally landed.
